First impressions sell gadgets. A month of use tells you whether to buy one.
Most gadgets feel great on day one. The battery is fresh, the app hasn't nagged you yet, and everything still smells new.
So every gadget I review lives on my desk, in my bag or on my wrist for a month first. I charge it when it needs charging, and I write down what starts to annoy me by week three.
It is slower, and it means I'm rarely the first review out. But when I tell you something is worth buying, I've lived with it.
