Creator Registration Policy

Last updated: September 3, 2026

This Creator Registration Policy applies to users who opt into the Creator role on Vyndle and to anyone using Vyndle's monetisation features (sponsored collaborations). Vyndle is operated by Modic Software Pty Ltd(ABN 38 632 810 390), referred to in this policy as “Vyndle”, “we”, “us”, or “our”. This policy complements our Terms & Conditions and the User Registration Policy.

1. Eligibility for the Creator role

To take on the Creator role you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old — monetisation requires the legal capacity to enter into contracts.
  • Hold a valid government-issued identity document — it will be needed for the payout verification described in Section 2 once that check is live.
  • Be located in a jurisdiction where Vyndle is permitted to operate.
  • Not appear on any sanctions, watch, or politically-exposed-persons list that would prevent us from doing business with you.

2. Identity verification (KYC)

Creator posting access is granted on the basis of the age you declare at sign-up. Platform-wide age assurance is described in our User Registration Policy: today it rests on self-declaration at sign-up, and the further layers set out there are not yet complete: step-up verification of any account suspected of being held by someone under 18 awaits an accredited age-assurance provider. The check described in this section is separate: it applies only to creators seeking payouts and is not a substitute for those platform-wide measures.

Before payouts can be enabled on your account, we will run identity verification through an accredited third-party verification provider, to meet the Know-Your-Customer obligations that apply to creators with payout privileges. This check is not yet live: creator payouts are not currently enabled, and no verification is requested until they are. Once the check is live, you may be asked to supply:

  • A government-issued identity document.
  • Proof of address.
  • A liveness check, such as a short verification selfie.

We will store only the minimum information needed to evidence the check — see our Privacy Policy for the full data-handling rules.

3. Information for payouts

We collect payout details only when monetisation is enabled on your account. Depending on how you operate, that may include:

  • Your legal name or registered business name.
  • Business or residential address.
  • Bank or payment-account details for receiving funds.
  • Tax-residency information and applicable tax IDs.
  • Sharing Economy Reporting Regime (SERR) information — Australian Business Number (ABN, where applicable), GST registration status, and the further information required for SERR reporting under Subdivision 396-B of Schedule 1 to the Taxation Administration Act 1953. Vyndle lodges SERR reports with the Australian Taxation Office twice yearly covering all reportable creator transactions for the relevant period.

Before payouts can be enabled, your identity and tax information is shared with our payment provider for the purposes of payment processing, KYC, and sanctions and politically-exposed-person screening under the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Act 2006 (Cth). If the screening does not clear, payouts cannot be enabled on the account.

Clawback authorisation. By accepting these terms, you authorise Vyndle to debit your payout balance for any of the following, plus any associated card-scheme fees, dispute fees, and reasonable cost recovery: (i) a user-side refund or dispute upheld against the transaction that funded your earnings under our Disputes & Chargebacks Policy; (ii) a card-scheme chargeback decided against Vyndle where the underlying transaction funded your earnings; (iii) a refund Vyndle has paid on your behalf under our Shipping & Refund Policy. The total deducted is capped at the gross transaction amount plus actual fees billed by our payment provider — Vyndle does not levy a separate penalty. Where your payout balance is insufficient to cover the amount, the deficit may be recovered from future payouts; if you close your account before the deficit clears, Vyndle may pursue recovery as a debt.

4. Tax obligations

You are solely responsible for declaring your earnings on Vyndle and paying any tax owed in your jurisdiction. Vyndle may issue tax forms or transaction summaries where legally required, but these are not a substitute for professional tax advice. You agree to provide accurate tax-residency and identification information when we ask for it.

5. Content standards for creators

As a creator you are accountable for everything posted from your account. Your content must comply with the prohibited categories listed in Section 3 of our Terms — in particular no content involving minors, no graphic violence, no politically sensitive propaganda or hate speech, no sexual or pornographic material, and no gambling promotion. You must also respect intellectual property rights and applicable advertising-disclosure laws.

6. How the Creator role is granted

There is no application or approval queue for the Creator role. The role is enabled when you connect a social platform account to your Vyndle profile, and posting access follows on the basis of your declared age. Payout enablement is the separately gated step: it will require the identity verification described in Section 2 and is not yet live. We do not quote a turnaround time for that verification; when it goes live, we will update this policy with how it works in practice.

7. Grounds for enforcement

Because the Creator role is granted automatically rather than by application, enforcement operates at the account level: we may suspend an account, which blocks posting and other changes while the suspension lasts; we may ban or terminate an account, which removes creator access with it; and we may refuse or withdraw payout enablement. Any of the following can lead to these steps:

  • A failed identity check or fraudulent verification documents, once the payout verification described in Section 2 is live.
  • A match against a sanctions or watch list, where payout-related screening applies.
  • Repeated content violations or breach of the prohibited categories in our Terms.
  • Fraudulent activity, including manipulation of metrics, payments, or referrals.
  • Chargeback abuse or sustained payment-related disputes.

When creator payouts are enabled, Vyndle explicitly links its content-moderation framework to its payments framework so that enforcement is effective and not undermined by the financial layer:

  • A suspended or banned creator account has its campaign payouts held by our payment provider rather than paid out. On a suspension, a held payout goes out on the next scheduled release run once the suspension ends; if the account is instead terminated, the held funds are dealt with as described below. A suspension also stops new tips and new subscriptions, though subscriptions already running keep billing to the creator's own account. A ban cancels them.
  • Creator accounts terminated for serious breaches — including Class 1A or 1B content, predatory behaviour toward minors, or repeated image-based abuse — have outstanding balances frozen. Vyndle cooperates with our payment provider and, where applicable, law enforcement on the appropriate disposition of those funds.
  • Where a creator is reported to law enforcement (for example, to the Australian Centre to Counter Child Exploitation in connection with child sexual abuse material), pending and historical payment information is preserved as part of the evidence package.

8. Regaining access

Because there is no creator application, there is no rejection to reapply from and no waiting period. If your account is suspended or terminated, you may appeal where our Content Monitoring Policy allows it — some enforcement actions, including terminations for Class 1A or 1B material, are final and not subject to appeal. A successful appeal restores access. Once the payout verification in Section 2 is live, this policy will set out what happens when a check does not clear.

9. Account portability and content export

A self-service export of your content and supporter list is not yet available from account settings. You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you at any time by emailing privacy@vyndle.co, as described in our Privacy Policy. If you choose to delete your creator account, the public-facing profile and content are removed; we will continue to retain completed-transaction records and tax-related information for as long as we are legally required to do so.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our payment providers, KYC partners, or legal obligations change. When we make material changes we will notify creators by email or via an on-platform banner before the changes take effect.
