eSafety Information
Last updated: May 18, 2026
This page tells Australian end-users how to contact the eSafety Commissioner and how to make a complaint — either directly to the Commissioner, or about Vyndle's handling of content on the Service. It is published in accordance with section 26 of the Online Safety (Designated Internet Services—Class 1A and Class 1B Material) Industry Standard 2024 (F2024L00710). Vyndle is operated by Modic Software Pty Ltd(ABN 38 632 810 390), referred to in this page as “Vyndle”, “we”, “us”, or “our”.
1. About the eSafety Commissioner
The eSafety Commissioner (eSafety) is Australia's independent online safety regulator, established under the Online Safety Act 2021 (Cth). eSafety has statutory powers to investigate online harms, issue removal notices to platform providers, and take enforcement action. eSafety also runs education and prevention programmes for the Australian public. More information is available at esafety.gov.au.
2. eSafety's reporting schemes
eSafety operates several statutory schemes for reporting online harms. The scheme that applies to you depends on the nature of the harm.
Adult Cyber Abuse
For Australian adults (18+) who have experienced seriously harmful online content targeted at them — including severe harassment, threats, or coordinated abuse. Report at: esafety.gov.au/report/adult-cyber-abuse.
Image-Based Abuse
For anyone whose intimate images have been shared, or threatened to be shared, without their consent. This scheme applies regardless of age. Report at: esafety.gov.au/report/image-based-abuse.
Illegal and Harmful Content
For reports of the most serious categories of online content — including child sexual exploitation material, pro-terror material, and extreme crime and violence material. eSafety can issue removal notices to platform providers under this scheme. Report at: esafety.gov.au/report/illegal-harmful-content.
Cyberbullying (children)
For Australian children (under 18) who have been seriously bullied online. Vyndle is an 18+ platform, so this scheme is unlikely to be invoked through content on Vyndle, but it remains available to any Australian child who has experienced serious cyberbullying elsewhere. Report at: esafety.gov.au/report/cyberbullying.
3. How to refer a matter about Vyndle to eSafety
If you believe Vyndle has not dealt with a report or complaint in accordance with the Online Safety (Designated Internet Services—Class 1A and Class 1B Material) Industry Standard 2024, or if content on Vyndle falls within one of eSafety's statutory schemes, you can refer the matter directly to eSafety at report.esafety.gov.au. eSafety's general contact information is available at esafety.gov.au/about-us/contact-us.
4. Reporting to Vyndle first
For content or account issues on Vyndle, you can report to us directly — see our Reporting Policy. We acknowledge most reports within 2 business days and action serious matters (Class 1A and Class 1B content) within 24 hours. How we monitor content and the actions we may take are set out in our Content Monitoring Policy. Reporting to Vyndle first does not prevent you from also or alternatively reporting to eSafety, and does not affect any eSafety timeline.
