User Registration Policy

Last updated: August 30, 2026

This User Registration Policy applies to anyone creating an account on Vyndle. Vyndle is operated by Modic Software Pty Ltd(ABN 38 632 810 390), referred to in this policy as “Vyndle”, “we”, “us”, or “our”. This policy complements our Terms & Conditions — by registering for an account you agree to both documents.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to register a Vyndle account. Each person may hold only one account; we may merge or close duplicate accounts.

We do not currently offer the Service in jurisdictions where its operation is restricted by law. If we determine that you are located in such a jurisdiction, we may decline or revoke your registration.

Because Vyndle operates as an 18+ platform, our approach to age assurance is layered, consistent with the eSafety Commissioner's regulatory guidance — successive validation rather than self-declaration alone. Today it rests on self-declaration at sign-up, together with the banned-email block described below; the remaining layers are still to come:

  • Self-declaration at sign-up. Today, every account holder must enter their date of birth and confirm they are 18 or older. The platform does not permit account creation with a declared age under 18.
  • Repeat-attempt prevention (partly live). The email address of a banned account is retained and blocked from being used to create a new account. What is not yet in place is retention of a declaration of an age under 18 against device and contact signals: today such a sign-up is refused without an account being created and nothing about the attempt is kept, so it can be retried. That changes when the ban list is extended to those signals.
  • Behavioural and reporting signals (not yet live). Once live, any account suspected of being held by a person under 18 — through user reports, moderator observation, or behavioural signals — will be suspended pending age-assurance step-up. Because it relies on that step-up check, it is not in place until the accredited provider described below is integrated.
  • Step-up verification (not yet live). Step-up will use an accredited third-party age-assurance provider — either facial age estimation or government-ID verification. Accounts that fail or do not complete the step-up check will be deactivated. No provider is integrated yet, so no step-up check is requested; we will update this policy when the check is live.
  • Periodic review. Vyndle keeps its age-assurance approach under review in line with eSafety guidance.

Personal information collected for age assurance — including from accredited third-party providers — is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles, and is not used for any purpose other than age assurance, KYC for creator payouts, and the maintenance of audit records.

2. Information you provide

To register, you provide:

  • Email address — used for verification and important account notices.
  • Password — chosen by you and stored only as a secure hash.
  • Display name — what other users see on your profile.
  • Optional profile fields — handle, bio, profile media, and any external links you choose to add.

You are responsible for ensuring the information you provide is accurate and kept up to date.

3. Email verification

Email verification is required before your account becomes active. You will receive a verification email shortly after signup; click the link in that email to confirm your address. We may rate-limit or restrict the functionality of unverified accounts to protect the Service from abuse.

4. Account security

You are expected to choose a strong password and keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. We recommend enabling two-factor authentication once it becomes available. If you suspect any unauthorised access to your account, notify us immediately at hello@vyndle.co and change your password.

5. Display name & handle

Handles must be unique across Vyndle. You may not choose a handle or display name that:

  • Infringes the trademark or other rights of any third party.
  • Is misleading about your identity, role, or affiliation.
  • Impersonates a real person, organisation, or public figure.
  • Is offensive, harassing, or otherwise breaches our Terms.

We may reclaim or rename handles that breach these rules.

6. Acceptable conduct on registration

When signing up you must not:

  • Create fake or pseudonymous accounts intended to deceive other users.
  • Use automated scripts, bots, or services to register accounts in bulk.
  • Share a single account between multiple individuals for commercial purposes — each person must have their own account.
  • Provide false identity information or use someone else's personal data.

7. Right to refuse or revoke registration

Vyndle may decline a registration, suspend an account, or revoke previously granted access where we reasonably believe the account breaches this policy, our Terms, or applicable law, or where we cannot verify the information you have provided. Where appropriate we will give you an opportunity to correct the issue.

8. Closing your account

You may close your account at any time. Account deactivation and deletion requests can be sent to hello@vyndle.co. Some data (for example transaction records and moderation logs) may be retained after closure where we are required to keep it by law or for ongoing enforcement — see our Privacy Policy for the full retention rules.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes we will notify registered users by email or via an on-platform banner before the changes take effect.
